Method. A fixed panel of 100 US direct-to-consumer online stores, every 3.7th store of the 367 in US Store Speed 2026, ordered by category so every category is represented in proportion. Home page, Google PageSpeed Insights mobile, run weekly from a US server. Stores that fail to load in a given week are left out of that week's medians. Apps and tags exclude hosting, CDNs, font services and the store platform itself. No store is named.
