01Measure what shoppers feel

Pull real-user field data for your key pages, not just a Lighthouse runA lab score on a fast laptop looks better than reality, and Google ranks on field data from real visitors.
Check LCP on product and home pages against the 2.5 second targetA slow main image or product photo is what shoppers wait on first, and they abandon pages that feel slow.
Check INP to see whether taps and clicks respond quicklyA sluggish response makes the store feel broken even when everything has technically loaded.
Check CLS for buttons and content that jump while the page loadsLayout shift makes shoppers tap the wrong thing, and it counts against you as a ranking signal.
Test on an older phone over mobile dataThat shopper is the one a slow store loses, and a fast desktop connection hides the problem.
