What happened
On 28 October Anthropic made smart reports, in-app surveys and pooled group budgets generally available for Claude Enterprise. A smart report samples a team's transcripts, groups the work into workstreams and shows spend, deliverables and friction points for each. A pooled budget gives a group one shared monthly amount, with admin alerts at 50, 75, 95 and 100 percent.
Why it matters
Picture the month-end call where finance asks what the AI line bought. Now the answer is a report per workstream, down to the failed tool calls that burned spend.
What to do
If you run Claude Enterprise, set a pooled budget per team and turn on the alerts, then read the first smart report before you raise anyone's limit.
