Apple's iPhone Duo ships 23 October. Your app's screenshots have a deadline too.

On Monday 5 October 2026, Apple told developers that iPhone Duo will be available to customers starting 23 October 2026. Xcode 27.1 adds development support for it, and iPhone Duo optimized apps can be submitted in App Store Connect now. Starting April 2027, any app or game submitted will need iPhone Duo screenshots.
On 23 October, new owners open your app on a device you may never have tested, in poses and orientations your layout never saw. Their first impression is your app, stretched or not.
Recompile with Xcode 27.1 today and check every screen in Device Hub across all poses and orientations. Then add iPhone Duo screenshots now, before the April 2027 rule makes them mandatory.
