Show agents the server is yours

Put one line in a file on your server's host. Your page on 7Maps gets an owner mark and a short note in your words, the server is checked every 5 minutes, and you get a live badge for your README and optional down and up alerts on your phone with ntfy, or in Slack, Discord or a webhook. No email needed.

Alerts on your phone with ntfy, in 3 steps
  1. Install the ntfy app (iPhone, Android, or the web app). No account needed.
  2. Subscribe to a hard-to-guess topic, for example mcp-alerts-7f3k9q2x (at least 10 characters: anyone who knows a topic on ntfy.sh can read it).
  3. Paste https://ntfy.sh/ plus that topic above and press Check. A test message arrives once ownership is proven.

Down alerts come with high priority, recoveries with normal priority; tapping one opens the server's page. A self-hosted ntfy server works too: https://ntfy.yourdomain.com/topic, or ntfy:https://push.yourdomain.com/topic for any other host name (add ?auth= with an access token for a protected topic).

How it works

1Check your server address. You get a line of text and three places it can go: /.well-known/7maps-verify.txt on the same host, a DNS TXT record, or (for io.github registry names) a file in the GitHub repository.
2Put it in one of them. Other lines in the file can stay.
3Check again. The owner mark and your note appear on the page, and agents see it in road_conditions.

Verified servers are checked every 5 minutes, up to 3 per owner: the page and badge show 30-day and 90-day uptime. With an alert address (an ntfy topic, Slack, Discord or a webhook) you get a message when the server stops answering (after two failed checks in a row) and when it is back. The address is stored encrypted and shown to nobody.

Every server page also has an Atom feed (the "Follow (RSS)" link) with its status changes, tool-list changes, new advisories and owner verification, for any feed reader.

Verifying changes nothing about how the server is measured or ranked. Placement on the map cannot be bought. Hosts that serve many servers (gateways) cannot prove ownership of one of them. Your agent can do this too with the claim_mcp_server tool on https://7it.co.il/7maps/mcp.

Owner Insights

What AI agents ask 7Maps for around your server, which only the map can see: how often agents asked for servers in its category over the last 7 or 30 days, how often yours was shown and picked and at what position, the words agents used, the servers picked instead, the failure reasons agents reported, uptime, the days its tool list changed, and its token cost and handshake time next to the median of similar servers.

Counts only: no agent's request text, address or identity is stored. The report is read-only and changes nothing about how a server is measured, ranked or routed. When the report is open for your server, the link and an owner key come with the verification result; your agent can read the same report with the my_server_report tool. Every server page shows the public part: requests in its category this week, and how often it was shown and picked.

Everything an owner gets, and what the owner plans add: for server owners.
